Default Back from DMV no tags :(

I went to title and reg my car and all was smooth. They had the plates on the counter. The inspection was quick and the process was smooth. I was going to have to pay $35 for two years. The DMV got a report that my car was titled in KY in 2007 and had ~5000 miles on it at that time.

My car is a kit that has been with me since the start and never titled in KY. I have to wait until Monday and go back and have DMV call KY. I don't know how that will turn out. Maybe there is an FFR in KY with a close FFR number and they typo'd, I dont know how that can be resolved over the phone.

The other thought is FF gave out my number twice. I can't find out either until Monday. This went from best day to lame day!

Mike

That happened to me on my first cobra - a Unique FIA. Unique actually gave the number out twice - once to a Unique 427 SC and then to my 289FIA. Florida noticed it when registering, but simply put another letter in the Vin #. Rick

Mike, If they can't resolve the current number, ask them if they can assign an Arizona VIN and go forward from there.
