Travel Plans to Laughlin
Since the time is getting closer for laughlin, I was wondering if there was a group from the east, (or southeast) that had an idea of a departure time & place that Ralph & I could hook-up with.

Tom, We will gather somewhere in the east valley. Last year I think it was at Greenfield and US 60 around 7:30 to drive to Wickenburg. Keep an eye peeled on the website and someone will post something.

No sense and Ralph driving all the way out to east bumscrew. Maybe we can find a place to meet on the 101 north of the 202.

All you have to do is make it here. We will get you Laughlin with very little pain. Ha HA.
Dave, Dan, I knew one of you would come back with info. I'd like to tie in around I-10 & 60, or 202, or heck anywhere would be as good as any. Just don't forget us as the day gets closer.
Thanx

Usually, I believe the route is 60 to 101 to 17N to Carefree Hwy and then on to Wickenburg where we meet the rest of the club at McDonalds. If that needs to be modified, let's get it out there now as I am off for the wilds of St. Louis for a while probably not to return until the Wednesday before the trip.

Didn't we pick up someone on the 101 N/202 last year? Somewhere around Indian Bend.
I'm out of town also.
Git to go to Arkansas.
Come on Brian speak up here. Maybe he has a better memory.

Dave, whoever you picked up was probably a big breasted hitch hiker!
(I promise I won't mention it to your wife.)

I try not to pick up people on the side of the road, that Bonaduchi dude taught us all a good lesson....
If I remember correctly last year I had a Transmission seal that needed to be replaced so I left a bit late, but the plan was still to hook up at Greenfield and the 60 for the far East siders. That still works for me, and we go West on the US60 to the 101 North to the I-17. We could meet at MCC of Dobson and the US 60 shortly after 7:30 when we leave the gas station at Greenfield to pick up the Maricopa guys....
Does that work for everyone?

That sounds like a good idea Brian. I need to get with Ralph when he finally gets here and make a game plan, but that will probably work.
Looking forward to the trip.

Yep! The first stop is at McD's in Wickenburg, fuel up going into town and then hook up with the rest of the crazies! Get a cup of coffee and an English muffin then off to the races.......
Tom, let us know as the time draws near, not sure if there is someplace better to meet? You could come up the 10 to the 202 east then the 101 north to the 60 east to Dobson..... wew....

Guys, since we are having folks from all kinds of directions east and south come together, could the guys in the east gather a little farther west and the guys in the south come a little farther north and all gather at say Fiesta Mall parking lot or somewhere in that vicinity to head to Wickenburg together?

I vote for MCC!
Huge parking lot and fast exit entry to the freeway and the 101N....

Hey.. Jim... Funny. At least I won't have to stop for gas.
I'll have a meet time when it gets closer.
