Dan,
I will be there, just fair warning... Should be nice weather too. Highs in the 70's next week but threatening a little rain to bring the temps down.

Steve,
83rd turns into Lake Pleasant rd about 1 mile north of Bell. Continue north on 83rd/Lake Pleasane and you will see a Safeway on the right. Bingo we are there.
We are on Lake Pleasant Road and Deer Valley.
Generally get there about 4 to 4:30p

Yep. Sat. night is a regular get together. We also gather each Tuesday night at the 5 & Diner around 5:00 PM. The 5 & Diner is on the S. side of Bell and 75 Ave. 75th is a traffic light. (7541 W Bell Rd Peoria, AZ)
I passed on 83rd this Sat. because it was sprinkling at my house 1/2 hour before ready to go but was on/off. Anybody brave the weather?

Welcome Lekos,
I see this is your first post and a new member. A SPF new owner or just new to the CC board? What part of town do you live in so we can direct you to others with this Cobra bug? Send mikiec here on AZ forum to get hooked up with email list of functions.
welcome !

Thanks for the quick responses... I have been a SPF owner since 97 and have car #221. I live in Dewey (just south of Prescott)... I just recently moved my car to AZ and am having a few minor things done to it... should be out of the shop in about a week or so. I am looking forward to coming to some of the events..
Thanks again
Steve

Steve,
Owner since 97, you should be used to her by now. Dewey is a jaunt for most of our casual gatherings but doable. I miss the Dewey Farms bakery and stand since they closed. Our family made a pilgrimage a few times a year when my daughter was younger to the pumpkin patch, hay rides and always brought home lots of goodies. Great sweet corn, pies, pumpkins or poultry and beef.
Hope to see ya at one of the events. Jeff

Jeff,
It was a good night. A few drops of rain periodically but nothing to dampen the spirits. Dan showed up, The lot was only half full. Most of us left about 10 pm

Sounds like I missed a good time with the gang. To quote that guy in the chebbie orange car I just wimped out. When my daughter found out I was going to stay home she decided to hang with her old man. I was honored she stayed home on a Sat. night. I had a great time.

Jeff, I wimped out too. When I went to leave there were drops of rain all over so I just stayed home. Should have gone. Jeff, treasure your moments with your daughter they will become fewer. I was at a car show/swap meet at Peoria Sports Complex Saturday and got sprinkled on there and on the way home. Was at All Ford Show today at Sanderson Ford. Today was good.

Young's Farm
Yes, it is a shame that Young's Farm has closed. I pass by it on my way home. If most of the events are in the PHX area, then it is not too much of jaunt.. but if a lot of them are in Tucson area, then that probably means a stay over... but in any event, it means I get to drive my toy so that is not all bad...
And who knows, if you guys decide to come "up the hill", I can always join you along to way to some where.... and I guess that is better than the Bridge to Nowhere
Take Care

Bob,
Time with my daughter has already become hit n miss. Spending the evening just hanging did a dads heart a lot of good. Then she told me about one of her psychology courses covering sexual disorders. I about $hit a brick when I heard the things people were discussing out loud around my baby!!!! When she got me peeled of the ceiling she decided to change topics to other course studies between our laughing anyway.
Lekos,
Thanks, I picked up on Young's Farm being the correct name, after all my times there I could not remember Young's Farm. There are a bunch of Cobras in the area that break down into smaller groups for things in their area but try to get all together for some events. The Tucson sponsored (Bill's Beer N Brats) this coming weekend at "Brats, Burgers, & Beer". Tucson, AZ. or Laughlin at Kit Cars on the Colorado and more
