Default John from Tucson

John I received an email from Empire High School in Vail. Seeing as it is in your neighborhood I thought I would post it for you.

Here it is:
Mr. Mike Canning,
My name is Christa Manning from Empire High School. It has come to the time for our schools home coming on Oct 17. I know this is probably short notice but the student council and my self would love to have you and your club be apart of that again this year. I heard rumors that you weren't too happy with the accommodations, but this year we have a new adviser and are willing to do what it take to have your clubs services again. We really loved having you guys last year and our whole entire school love it as well. So if you could please get back to me as soon as you can I would greatly appreciate that and so would my school. You can reach me by this email address but the better way would probably be my cellphone number which is 520820xxxx.

(I blanked out the cell phone. If you need it let me know.)

Thank you so much for taking time to consider this

Christa Manning

student council

Heck Mikie, That sounds like fun. Delivering the Home Coming Queen in front of the stundent body with tire smokin' and pipes blowing fire.. That would be a kick! Let's do it.

would love to have you and your club be apart of that again this year.

Obviously just an indirect way of saying they don't really want us there.....

We did this last year. Mikiec thanks for forwarding this to me. I'll contact the young man. We have done two Homecomming Parade events at local high schools in the last two years.

Dan, these events are all over-heat your motor at idle creep along parade events. Not fun! Except maybe the getting there and back.

John, I may be wrong but I believe "Christa" is probably a girl!

Bob, You mean that there are no nubile girls in revealing formal wear hanging on for dear life while you smoke your tires and blow fire out the side pipes? I guess I don't really want to go then~!

Hey guys, cool off. We have done three of these football Homecoming events. We have five or six Cobras, they tell us what they need, and each one takes one of the "Royaly" from the Homecoming in the pax seat, actually on the rear deck with their shoeless feet on the pax seat. We make one trip around the football field, drop off the "Royalty" and head for home. This is done during the half time. Oh yes, they do feed us also.

Jeez John, you shouldn't have mentioned free food. Now you'll have more volunteers than you need.
