First time going with Cobras to Tortilla Flats
Hello,
I've taken the cobra out a few times to local cruise-ins and plan on joining the group this weekend on the drive to the Tortilla Flats.
This is my first time meeting with the group, what do I need to know about this trip. Where do you meet, time, ect. My wife and I are looking forward to the drive.
Mike

We'll meet at the gas station on Idaho Rd, just off the 60. Plan on an 8:30-ish lift off. The road to TF gets very twisty-curvy and can be fun, if we don't get stuck behind some tourist going 10 MPH around the hairpins. We'll have some food at the Flats, that is generally marginal and over priced but its a nice ride. There have been a couple mishaps over the years with one guy sliding off the road and another running into the side of a mountain, but generally, we all escape pretty much intact. See you Saturday.

MIke, I'm glad you've talked her into it.. I think you'll both enjoy it.. See you there..
Oh, and DON'T follow Karl on your first expedition with the club. I'm not sure you're up for that kind of excitement! (Same goes for Broberg!)

It's easy to catch up with Karl, eventually he'll be sitting on the side of the road giving his autograph to a DPS ossifer.

Karl was easy to follow on the road with no side streets.. He only got lost twice. It was a great run..
