Factory Five 33 Hot Rod
I am finally finishing up my 41 Willys Pickup and need another street rod project to keep me occupied. The FFR "33 Hot Rod" looks cool as ****!! My financial adviser (Marilyn) won't let me buy one for me right now. (understatement!!!) Would somebody like to contract with them to build them one?

There are many suppliers of 33 Ford kits (a lot cheaper and some with a metal body) that will actually accept replacement/reproduction parts for a 33 that are produced by several suppliers (unlike the FFR).

Yes there are several other 33's on the market. I built one of the first FFR Cobras and several other vehicles since. FFR makes a great product for the price. Check out what this car is before you shoot off your mouth.

Bill, Didn't mean to get you upset. Just posting what is common knowledge. The same info. has been posted on the FFR Larry forum (which I have been following since day 1). Maybe if you were more informed, you wouldn't shoot off your mouth.

Just remember Larry is not meant to be a traditional 33 Hotrod. Actually I like it better than a traditional 33. Roomier, great handling etc..

I not an expert on the other kits out there but i think the car has a great roadster/prowler vibe to it. The great thing about cobras or other kits is that each person can have what they like. (And I don't really care when others don't like it.)

Not to change the subject but is there anyone who makes a five window 32 coupe kit? (steel or otherwise)
I've offten thought of building an exact "American Graffiti" replica but not being a hot rod guy, I don't know of any kits.

There are lots of companys building rod "kits", Outlaw ,BeBops , Neverust,to name a few. In my opinion F5 is priced TFH. Here's a nice settup I checked out at Carlisle- $12,995 for a full roller, http://www.davviki.com/home.htm

My two cents from Havasu City.
The FFR 33 looks to be a great build with many high tech. advantages as compared to an original /or a replica 33 ford kit. None of the replica kit high boy rodsters and coupes on the market these days are very accurate or remotely authentic. Even the new all metal versions are still replicas and not acutal original cars, so what difference does it really make as to who the heck dreamed up their version of a junky old Ford.
It all boils down to "bragging rights" and who can out spend the next guy.....WOW!
As long as it fun to build, handles good, goes faster than hell and looks good ...its' very cool!.......remember it's all in our heads.
Bill go ahead and build one of the new FFR 33's.....somebody has to do it.
The other Bill
