Route 66 fun run

We are planning to eat their famous hamburger for lunch on Friday. We will route ourselves onto Route 66 at Ash Fork, stop in Seligman to eat at the Snow Cap and pickup our show bags, then on to Kingman, liquid refreshments and silliness.

Weather forecast for the Kingman area during the Route 66 Fun Run is sunny and 76 degrees with light winds. Primo!
My car's in the shop right now getting an inspection and some tweaks before the run just to make sure everything's in order. I'm guessing around 1000 miles and 1000 photos on this run. Can't wait.

Sandy, it will only be about 600 miles but you can still take 1000 photos. About 300 miles on entire route to end from here, then under 250 mi back on Rte 93.

Make sure and bring plenty of sun screen and a big hat! This car show includes a lot of seat time in your car so it is easy to get over tanned...... One thing for sure, it will let you know how well your car is running and what it was like to cruze cross country in one of theas beast.

As far as rooms in Williams.. You are on your own. Most of us are staying both nights in Kingman.
Those that are staying in Williams will chime in.

Stuart, Barb and Brian are staying at Motel6 East, and Fitz and gang are at Motel6 West. They are about two blocks apart but the East hotel is closer to down town and the micro brew!:D

You didnot but you have a room in Kingman for both Friday and Saturday if you want.
Please confirm with me via Email. The room needs to be cancelled by Tuesday Night the 28th.

It sounds like Sargent group (2-3 cars) and myself may be booking out of Phoenix sometime between 9-10AM. Taking the scenic way. Anybody that wants to join us feel free coming by the house to hook up.:confused:

Is the plan for the group meeting at 9:30 Friday AM to go the back scenic way or the fast way up I-17 to Flag. Who will be meeting at this time? We will hook up with that group as well. Mike sargent (66 red mustang) wanted to know. :rolleyes:
