You all should know the annual "Hot Butt" competition will commence on Saturday night in front of the motel. I will bring the "official" "Hot Butt Scan Tool". You should be very afraid. Last winner, Dr Ken Krieger sat on his steam radiator for hours just to win. Linda, Hot Pants, Mahaffey did her best lying in the sun butt (note the spelling) it just wasn't hot enough.

Fitz...
We are staying at Motel 6 East, it is closer to town and the beer! this way we do not have that far to stumble back to our rooms. What is real nice is that the rooms are above the parking garage so if it snows our cars will be nice and dry.....

For all I know that is where we are staying unless there are two Motel 6s?

Correct! There are two, one is across from the Grocery store further into town than the Motel6 West which is where you are staying.

OK gang, I have a new toy to bring. A Decibel Db sound level meter. We can finally find out who's pipes are loudest. Or....who makes the loudest body sounds.......or...who screams the loudest....or...who has the loudest kiss (Danr?). Whistle? Sound system? My mind is hurting.

Too bad I don't have the old motor with the big pipes. Wouldn't have to check anybody because we all know who had the loudest pain in the ass car... But we get older and more civilized with less noise.

Imagine...Tucson John and Bob B. in the same room. The Motel would have to permanently board up that room and never rent it out again. Couldn't even use it for storage.

Not jealous but deeply hurt. I'll probably bear the scars forever.

Do a search for "bear hit by a harley" and you'll see why I had "bear" on my mind. My mistake.

The biker made it thru three days in the hospital! The

hog's a wreck! lesson learned: Don't go Bear Hunting

with a Harley, they don't last but one hunt !!!!!!!!!!

This grizzly was hit by a Harley on Lolo Pass. This is the pass between

Lolo, MT and Kooskia, ID. Look at the claws on that sucker!

No clue, no clue as to why the photos wouldn't show up. Do a search for the topic I listed. It is impressive.

Just wondering because I haven't done this event before -- If I'm not interested in getting my car judged and not that interested in getting a T-shirt, is there a compelling reason to spend $55 to register?

Sandy, for your $55 ($50 if bought ahead of time) you get the T-shirt, Hat, License plate and bag of donated stuff. You also get the window tag that lets you into the downtown area for the car show. Otherwise you will park farther away. Finally, you are supporting the Route 66 Assoc. of Arizona who runs the function. This is probably their only annual event. http://www.azrt66.com/funrun.htm
Ultimately the answer is no, you don't. We will still love you.
