Relocating back to Phoenix
 

Long story short, my mother is battling Stage 4 cancer and the company I work for is closing their office in Vegas. I will be working in their Scottsdale office. Now the fun part of locating a rental home in North/East Phoenix.

We will be maintaining our mobile massage business in Vegas and building one in the Phoenix area.

On a good note, I am 90% done with the Spec Racer(Factory 5) Just need to wrap up some wiring off the main harness/ignition system/ starter, slap the radiatror in and gas tank and relocate some engine bay tubing so the supercharger will fit and try the first start up..plan to finish it within the year.

I hate moving!

Now is a great time to buy Real Estate in AZ.

I live in Canada and just bought a newer home in Gilbert AZ for $105K cash.

The previous owners paid $240K and owe $176K.

This is a winter home for our family. Cheap I would say.

You can buy a newer condo in North Scottsdale for around $145K plus or minus.

Rent hovers around $1000 a month for 2 bedroom/2 washroom.

I have a 3BR 2BA home in Mesa that will be come available for rent. It's in Mesa in the gated community of Las Sendas on the golf course, Power & McDowell. It's 20 min from the PHX airport and less than that to Scottsdale. Pool and great valley and mountain views. Big yard and wonderful gated community. Google Las Sendas and take a look.

We are short selling the house here. If things work out and the lender agrees to forgive the remaining amount, we would be in a position to buy in about 2 years. If not, 7 years before we could recover. Sucks, we just got our credit to 800 :( We heard that short sells do not hurt the credit as bad as a foreclosure..60 to 100 points.

We are looking to the North/NE area. Starting out our target market will be Scottsdale and North Phoenix area. Mesa would be too far from my employers office and for what we are trying to do.

It will be bice to be around my Cobra buddies:D Vegas was okay but wasn't the same when it came to the Cobra crowd in Phoenix.

As for the mobile massage, it is legit.... www.massage-o-gram.com Not the yank and crank the operation you see on Spring Mountain (shall I say Asian themed:eek:). Majority of our clients use us for therapeutic purposes. We do specials for teachers, nurses etc.

It really has been hard on me being here with what my mother is going through and I can't wait to get to Phoenix. She beat breast cancer 15 years ago and isn't ready to give up on this. Granted it is terminal but she plans to continue longer than what the doctors are giving her.

I always wanted to take her to one of the car gatherings but never made it. She loves 57 Chevys:D I am hoping that I will be able to take her to one when I get there.

I live in Northeast Phoenix at around 60th street and thunderbird. There are several houses that have been $500K or better selling for $250K but several of them have for rent signs. The rent goes up once you pass 64th street and east as Phoenix turns to Scottsdale. Try looking from Shea to Bell and from 32street over to 64th street. I hope that helps
