Home from picnic at Bartlett Lake. All left about 3pm. Great day, people, cars, weather, food....etc. Big thank you goes out again to Mike and Ginny for supplying charcoal, flatware, utensils, condiments etc. 21 cobras! Another success and I haven't heard of any tickets......yet.
Scott asked for some potential places to buy center piece for steering wheel. Here are a couple to start with:

Same here Robert. The traffic sucked. Can't believe this STUPID town would shut down a whole freeway on the weekend.
Thanks to Ginny and Mikie for getting things organized.
Mikie you looked real good. 108#'s and getting there. Congrats.

Mostly free-wheeling on my way home but it's now obvious that our driving season is sadly heading downhill for the next few months.
Great time with everybody though and thanks for taking most of the leftover shirts off my hands. Some of the proceeds are going towards the next Christmas party and Mikie assures me the strip..er...entertainment will be top-notch!

Cathy and I had a great time. The weather was perfect and the folks even better. I also want to thank Mike & Ginny for pulling everything together. I will send Mike a few photos for his bucket this afternoon. THANKS again and great to see everybody. Jeff C
PS... some system lost earlier post so repeating, sorry if later becomes a double post.
John, you should have went with us to the Central Ave Cruise. It was a good one. Quite a few nice cars. Mark and I even got away with smoking the tires a couple of times to the enjoyment of the spectators.
Looks like youse guys had a great day. Did notice a marked absence of glare from a magnificent bald head and a copper colored Cobra. Next year, fer sher.

Video:
This is a short video of the gang turning onto N. Lake Rd. from Bartlett Dam Rd. on our final approach to Rattlesnake Cove. We were going slow because we were in the park and actually kind of enjoying the view.

Had a great time and again meeting great people. Thanks to all who were responsible for setting everything up. Unfortunately, couldn't stay to long. Brought my nephew with me and he now got the bug,or should I say , "the bite, to get a COBRA. He assures me that there will be one in his garage within a year. I told him he needs a garage first.
