Mike, I have extra ammo if you would like to "borrow" it. Just replace it in kind when you finally find some.

Where did you order yours from? I have not found a cheaper price than Scottsdale Gun Club ($18.32 for a box of 50 .45acp) but can only buy 2 boxes at a time

gunbroker.com

The ebay of shooters.

Your cost is cheaper.

I still have 600 rounds on order from Cabellas, once those come in I'll order more.

Mikie, next time there's a gun show, maybe Bob or the Pinkster will pick up some ammo for you if you don't want to rub shoulders with the unwashed masses. There always used to be a company from Grass Valley CA selling ammo for really good prices. They would set up 20-30 tables and had mass quantities of just about everything immaginable. I'm sure its more expensive than it used to be, but then, what isn't. I've run thousands of rounds of their reloads for plinking and never had a failure.

Karl,

Next time there is a gun show... I'll be there.

I love the unwashed masses. Actually I think I need a shower. Not sure if I can wait until Saturday night.

Next Crossroads of the West Gun Show is Saturday, July 11th at the Arizona Fair Grounds. http://www.crossroadsgunshows.com/gunsched.htm I'll be there.
Next BIG show isn't until December. Same place.

Dan, last time I went to the Mesa Crossroads Show, the room wasn't half full. Waste of a trip.

All of the shows now are Crossroads.
You only need to do the Mesa show once.
Rare to find any deals anymore at shows. They are all dealers that raise their prices at the shows.

Mesa Dave meant that he and I will be out at Ben Avery, Sunday morning. We'll have to leave at O'dark 30 and pack a lunch, to get there from God's Country.

I wont be able to make it Sunday but did go shooting tonight. Ended up (they were out of a lot of ammo for the machine guns) shooting a H&K MP5. One of the guys with me had a 30/6 rifle that had quite a kick. Burned through 250 rounds in my .45 as well. Great stress relief

I guess I should have been more specific. "Sorta back on track" was about going shooting not all the other B.S.
