Default Just want to say Hi.

Hi Guys

New to the Forum. Just want to say Hi. I'm usually over at the FFcobra.com. I have a FFR Roadster, just got it licensed last month. I'm hoping to see you guys this weekend and get some FREE ice cream. (I'm from Chandler.)

The car is still in gelcoat, so it's nothing special, but here's a picture.

Hey, China

Sorry I will not be able to make your aquiantence Saturday. You will enjoy the gang. Stick around here and join in all the fun. We are a little more laid back than FFCobra.

China: so... did you add pliers to your huge tool chest; last I remember you had a hammer and screw driver. Wow, now look at the car. You must of added a wrench!!!!
Good job. Roll around in the gel coat to ensure you got all the creaks and stuff out of the way before final paint.

I think I might have a problem..... I just noticed my drive shaft don't have much play (going into the tranny. That 3/4 - 1 inch space.) but I already drove 800 miles on it. Don't know what to do. I don't think I installed the engine mounts backward...

Have you noticed any vibration when you get on it hard?

That means that the drive shaft is binding against either the diff or the tranny, I think.

Jeff Classic, what do you think?

I think its all gonna be fixed. I have a spare driveshaft in the garage and I dropped it off to have it shorten as we speak. I should have it back in few hours. Wish me luck

I realized what went wrong. My tranny was from a 95 GT, they are a little longer than 93 GT about 3/4 inch longer. (My engine was from a 93GT)

Did the corrected drive shaft solve your problem?

Dan's been suffering from a short driveshaft since he was a kid.
