Question ceramic coating

Does anyone know of if there is someone in the Phoenix area that does ceramic coatings (for my headers)?

I can't find anyone in Tucson that does this.

Yes,

Jet hot is located in Tempe. Go to their web site for address and phone number.

I do not have it handy here at work.

Blair,
My side pipes are at the coating place. I used a company called Custom Thermal Coating at 3517 E. Illini St.
Phoenix,az Phone 602-243-0071

Many of the local street rodders use this place and they are a little cheaper than Jet Hot. I saw work that was done there and I couldn't tell Jet Hot from this stuff. It's all the same to me.

Your Friend,
Hershal Byrd

Blair,
I don't know exactly what you are looking for in your header coating. I had mine done in mat black ( the origional Cobra color) 4 years ago that still looks good. It cost less than $100.00 at Prescott Power coating including sand blasting. I am sure they have many more options, as I just had my new roll bar done in a hammertone silver.

Custom Thermal Coating, is who we use. The product is better than Jet Hot Or HPC and the cost is about 45% less at wholesale level don't know about retails. Plus they are good people.

Default What are correct colours for roll bar and pipes

Kicking around the idea of silver with black stripes. So we are toying with the idea of black pipes and black rollbar. I personally like to chrome the roll bar and jethot silver the pipes. If I go to black rollbar and pipes was this correct?
I believe the only color I know for sure is the stark white I see on some cobra pipes.

I know I know Jet hot ceramic in bright silver sure isn't original either, but the originality factor may or may not be the oveririding factor that swings our decision.

Blacking out certain pieces on the silver and black themed car may or may not be overkill. At times the chroming may be just right.

Oh yeah I have the quick jacks as well to consider.

Smile COATINGS

Hello,
I am a dealer for Jet-Hot coatings and offer all the Cobra group a discount. You can chech Jet-hot out on the web but I can assure you you will be VERY happy. It never rusts or discolors and if it gets something burned on it just remove stain with steel wool. I have my brake calipers, driveshafts, halfshafts, intake and oilpan done and love it. email me with details and I can give you a price. I need tube diamater and total length from start to end aand that is for silver. Colors are 20.00 setup more. Jeff C cjeff2@qwest.net
