Crossroads Gun Show
Jeff C. and I went to Collosium gun show today. Arrived about 11:15am (Thanks for the idea Mike D.). Not too crowded. Lots of ammo. Guns weren't selling, just ammo. 2 rooms, 2 big Ammo sellers. I am a happy puppy. They are open tomorrow, Sunday if you need anything. $7 park $14 entrance.

There were primers there also, but I'm not going to pay $65.00/1000 for primers that used to be $65.00/5000. Prices for everything was outrageous.. No deals to be found there anymore.

Mike B. and I drove right on by the show on our way to Avondale. We'd had to detour off the freeway so got to go into that fine neighborhood. Didn't seem like they had nearly the traffic as when I'd been there before. By the time you pay the parking and the admission, its hard to get much of a good deal on anything you might buy.

The point made here is that people were not buying guns, just ammo. Sign of the times?
AZ Bob, I've got plenty now!

At those prices, I don't blame them. I'm not buying any guns either.. until the prices come down.. I looked at some primers on one table that were marked $35.00 that price lined out and remarked at $55.00 without even the slightest effort to disguise the fact.
Ain't capitalism wonderful?

Wanted to go, but Ginny needed a driver, at 2:30pm, to go the the fru fru shop.
I went to Shooters World, about 9am, to lessen my ammo by about 200 rounds.

Did Ginny buy any FruFrus? If so, will she model them next Saturday? I haven't seen a pretty frufru in a while. (what the hell is a frufru?)
