Boy John, you sure like to drive. PHX to HOU, all around Europe and from Miami back to PHX. Sure gives you something to think about before falling to sleep.

I called United Auto Transport and received a price from LA, Long Beach, to Barcelona. If we used the open parking which they described to me as on a lower deck similar to a parking garage the cost would be $2,300.00. An enclosed 20' car container from Houston to Valencia, Spain, would cost $2,550.00. Interestingly enought is the fact that they do not ship back from Europe. We'd have to contact another transporter to get a price from Europe to the USA. What do you think Mike ?

That's the business I was in before retirement. I'll check on cost but we could put both of the cars in one 40' and ship for the price of two in a car transport.l I also have a friend that is in the car transport business out of OAK, CA. They mostly ship to Hawaii but will have some contacts in other divisions. If you ask for a quote as for "POV" or privately owned vehicle.

Watched the last leg of the Tour de France this AM. I do not want to get near Paris. Only the mountains and boarder towns in the Alps. Only one big problem.....rains alot.

That "rains a lot" sure cools me on the idea. Don't have any fond memories of being caught in the rain in my Cobra and I'm sure my sweetie would not enjoy herself either.
