Dennis, Take the big bite and go for it. Just remember to buy gas when you need it. (THanks again Bob!) If you break, you break. If not, you'll have a great time..

I'll Bring the coolers
As there is only room for an extra pair of socks or two in the "C427" cars, I'll Bring the coolers, and a canopy. All are welcome to store their favorite beverages and ice in the coolers. Canopy seats cost a beer.

Hey Karl....I bet they have an "under construction" class you could enter and win. We both know you are really under construction.

Bob B, Let me set you straight, a thing on beauty is over at the Topless-A-Go-Go. That said, if Rouse didn't put the bugs in the engines why do the customers have to find them and "work them out " ??? Is it a game ?

30 Pack
John,
Check with Broberg to see if a 30 pack of Coors Light is enough.

It could be that Bob knows that a few Az Cobra members have Roush motors in their cars and it's not cool to trash-talk somebody else's motor. If they are having trouble with their engines then emotionally speaking now is the worst time to hammer them on the forum. Just my two cents worth...

Sandy, I told you a long time ago that nothing is sacred with these guys.. Everything you have is available for harassment. It's not always a pretty site.. Just ask Don..

UUUH guys, are we talking about a "thing of beauty" or are we talking about a Rouse engine ??????????? I'm talking truth, not trash. Read the posting over the last year or so and find just the Phoenix guys who have had problems with the Rouse engines. If you want the P.C. correctness.... then I feel sorry for them. If you buy a product with know problems........... buyer beware !!!!!!! Emotionally speaking... suck it up, move on, you made your decision. If the big buck guys can't accept engine failure on a $$$$$ engine then they need to be exposed to reality.

Hey, Dave from Mesa, did you make it back to AZ or are you and Judy still touring the distilleries in Tennessee?

Tucson John, I think you struck a nerve. If I'd spent a whole lot of money on a big name anything, and it was faulty, through no fault of my own, I'd probably be pretty "sensitive" about it. I'd certainly be most "sensitive" to the people that produced the famed item and charged me for what should have been a flawless product. I'm obviously bent differently than some and I think I remember receiving a gently nudge once about my RAT motor. Maybe more than once.

I am not sensitive about it - it just sucks. That being said I wonder with all of the trash talking of Roush why those same guys oooh and ahh over a nice motor like a Roush. Maybe a bit of jealousy?? It doesn't matter whether you have a Roush motor or a Keith Craft or one you built in your basement, things can go wrong. I never expected for a second buying a brand new Motor from Roush (and getting serial number 1 of that motor) that I wouldnt have some bugs to work out but that is why I chose a builder that offered a good warranty and would stand behind their work.
Am I happy they have had my motor for 3 weeks without working on it - no. It turns out they had "misfiled" all of the previous warranty work done on my car and wouldn't start until they had the records. They found them Friday and then started work on my car. But am I confident I will get back a better, fixed motor - Yes. I don't have the time nor the ability to work on my own motor but I also refuse to apologize to be able to afford to buy the motor in the first place. If anyone has a problem with that I am happy to let them suck on my exhaust fumes.
Have fun on the trip guys
Ron
