I've got mine! That makes 3!
Dave and Jenny, you will enjoy it. What's with the "bigwave" stuff?
By the way, welcome to the club.

You may have me confused with someone else, as I don't have a "Jenny", but I am married to a really great gal named Nancy.

As for "bigwave", I'm a thin guy that can make a big splash in the pool, so I got nicknamed bigwavedave.

Mike,

My wife & I have been waiting all year for this. Count us in. Last year was a lot of fun. Just hope hollywood doesn't sell his car by then so maybe he'll make it again too.

Ralph, I hope you are getting this thread and making your plans also. Let me know.

My plan was to leave Illinois around the 15th of October so I could make the Laughlin trip. I might not be able to get out of here till the end of Oct., that would be a bummer.
I really looked forward to that fun-filled weekend. Still hoping to make it.

Ralph........ You absolutely have to be there. You had a blast last year. Remember?

Mike

Its unlikely that my car will be roadworthy in time to go to Laughlin, but I just might go in something else just to see Ralph enjoy himself like he did last year.

RedSnake351 09-02-2009 06:59 PM

That's it!!!
You have made up my mind. Mesa Dave's up here this weekend and I will ask him to slap my face to get my ass down to the valley of the sun in time to get to the Laughlin Extravaganza!!! OR I'll ask him to slap my ass to get my face down to ...!

Danr55 09-02-2009 08:39 PM

I was hoping that was a misprint Ralphy.. Hope to see you in Laughlin.

lonestar #024 09-03-2009 08:06 AM

Now Ralph, how do you know you & Chuck had a good time last year when everyone there had to tell you that you had a good time.:confused:
Wait, I guess that means you DID have a goodtime.:LOL::LOL:
I just hope you can arrange yopu plans to be there, as it won't be the same without you & Chuck. Not only that, but we didn't get to take care of that 30 pack Kendra went to get. SO YOU BETTER BE THERE!!!!!!!

Bummer

I was psyched about finally getting my cobra out on the road for the run to laughlin and see the backroads of Az with the gang- Until today. The cobra went in to get its new shoes put on (Avons) and to have them check out the occasional blue smoke I was getting out the sidepipes. Roush approved them last week to do some tests on my engine and send the tests to them. Charlie called today to let me know that Roush called them and wants the engine crated up and sent back to them. They didn't say why only that they wanted the engine.

If it takes as long as Tim's that means I will be without my car for a month or more. I hope not but that is my guess.

What a shame Ron. It is fun driving cobras in a pack mentality. Come anyway. 2 years ago mine died on the way so I packed it home and took my truck. Still had fun. Dan and Bill are buying!!!!

Ron,

Todd at Roush will do you right. Sounds like it's some stuck rings like mine had. They made a lot of changes to my motor and it has been great thus far. Not sure if when you got your motor it had the changes already made. Worth the wait. At least you have a shop to send it too. LOL
