I'm going to do this show. Anyone want to ride along? Leave Idaho and US 60 around 8:30 or 9:00. Should be able to make it from there to Superior in 2 hours..

Danr
Idaho and US 60 to Superior will not take 2 hours unless you keep stopping and looking under your car every 10 minutes or if my coil goes out again.
I would think about a hour max.

If you even take an hour you are driving like my grandma. I averaged that ride when I have had to do it for work at about 45 minutes from Mesa and probably no more than 30 from AJ. I would love to go but I have not gotten my car out from the shop getting its new Avon shoes yet. Have fun!

Sarcasm, gentlemen, is the true spice of life.. I figure about 30 minutes run time.

Ron, How long does it take to shoe your car? I know a guy in Globe that can do a stable of horses in a day..

Default car show ride along

Dan right? i would be interested in cruising with you if you do not have your spare seat filled. I live in south scottsdale and put a few offers in on some cobra's, they were rejected (can fill you in on all that on the ride) but am still motivated. I am lookin for some guidance and advice, would you mind if i tagged along?

Which Mike's ? There are three. Edgar and I have spoken on the phone and I am hopeing that he'll find what he wants down here. I mentioned to him that he needs to get with you guys and spend some time looking at your Cobras and asking lots of questions. He is ready to buy, I am trying to help him get some knowledge about the cars so that he can get the right one and be happy. Since all of our Cobras are the same and yet very different he needs the exposure to as many opnions as possible. Could one of you guys give him a ride ? Many thanks, John

It isn't the shoes taking a bit, it was waiting for the approval from Roush to run some tests on my engine. I have developed some blue smoke from the exhaust when revving it from idle. Given Tim's(spooky) experience with his engine, I am not taking any chances while under warranty from Roush.

That's OK Scotty, I'll probably bring Marty back around 3:00. She has a Diamondbacks game Saturday night. Edgar, It looks like Marti is going with me on Saturday. Sorry.. why don't you ride with Scotty and we can talk at the show.

By the way, when I talked with Pati the other night, she said all of the AZ Cobras were pre registered. All we had to do was show up and put our names on the paper. $15.00.

DanR,
Let's meet at Idaho and US 60 at 8:45 am.

DWRAT,
I live off Tatum Blvd south of the curve in Paradise Valley. Let's meet at Chaparral and Pima ( right off 101 ) at 8 am. That will save you lots of time not coming through my side of town.

Edgar,
If you want a ride, meet me at Chaparral and Pima by 8am and we'll head out. My cell 602-448-3878.

Does that work for everybody ?

Scott

Danr et all. I drove this morning and everything feels good, soooooo. I will try to make it to Superior for the show. I'll be leaving my place at 9:00 am and plan to be in Superior about 10:15 or so. I won't stay for the entire show but leave about 1:30 pm. Doesn't Karl have a favorite breakfast / lunch restaurant there ? Please save me a spot with you guys in the show area.

Is that safe to ask Karl for a place to eat. You know he likes "HOT" food. Can your stomach take it?
