Leg room for tall guys - 1980 Arntz?
I'm interested in your thoughts about the leg room in Arntz cobras. Would there be any way to fit @ 6'4" ?
It's a given that I'd need to trim the underside of the dash and get the seat trimmed down as much as possible, but I'd be keen to hear how the Arntz compares to other models for leg room.
Thanks!

I'm 6"1 and have no problem. I took the pedal carriage and moved it back further, then modified the clutch pedal a little bit for travel. I didn't mess with the gas, but this should be easy to do also.

I am only 5'9", so I don't know. But, I don't think so. There is ample seat back to pedal room, so unless you are mostly legs and no torso, you should be OK.
The only thing I would worry about is that someone of your height may have large feet. The footwells are a little narrow due to the engine being set back farther than most cars.
Otherwise, I think you would be OK.

Thanks guys - I appreciate your input. Looks like it shouldn't be too much of a problem. There are a few Arntz for sale at the moment, so let's see what happens...
Russ - I can't stop staring at the IFS in your car. Stunning! Do you have a before/after comparison with the old MGB suspension?

Craig,
Thanks. I do have a before picture with the MGB front suspension. Will try to upload a couple of those tonight.
Check back tomorrow.

Sounds great Russ. I'm also really keen to hear you thoughts on the performance / handling improvement with the change.
