Did you feel It?????
If you felt a rumbling at about 6.15pm tonight, it was my 6 litre Chev starting up for the very first time.
Yahoo!!! What a relief to hear that sweet sweet sound of the big V8.

Mick,
Not sure I can credit the 'earth moving' to your start up but congrats regardless
Think the Chev's are outdoing the Fords at the moment.
Cheers

Well done Mick! Two Harrison/Chev cars in one week, no less. Any chance of some video?
Good luck with the rest of the build.

Now we're talking!! Tell me more about that intake... looks like it goes into a cold air box somewhere in the guard? Very neat work.

Hey congrats Mick, huge milestone.
Merv, stuff the hummock, as long as the rum distillery is still there is all that matters.

There's a quote that rolls off the tongue...
"Stuff the Hummock"!!
I might get a Tee Shirt with that printed on it....would keep plenty guessing what it meant.
I spent some happy years in Bundy...so I know plenty of "stuffin" went on at the Hummock!

Not me...just heard that's all!
Cheers
Warren.

Gawd Merv, do you and Wazza want to share anything with us?.
What with his "stuffin" at the Hummock and your bundy fuelled UFO experience at the Hummock leads me to this little story.
When I was a teenager the term "UFO" was used to define an event after one picked up a lady with whom one scored without ever knowing the ladies name.
ie: UFO = Unidentified female orgasm.

That turned out a lot cleaner than I first thought it would.
Unidentified F....... Object was my first guess!
Gotta get back to work.....it's alright for you retired gentlemen to be sitting on the forum all day....some of us have to keep the wheels in motion.
Cheers,

Oi Mr. Wazza Sir, I'll have you know I've led a very sheltered childhood and would never speak as you expected.
And wot's this retired thingy? .... Is that why I'm nose to the grind stone 24/7.
