Well Done. Now the anxious wait. Enjoy your beer(s), its a fantastic feeling.

I was in the exact same position this time last year - got my VIN early Feb - Hopefully they are quicker these days.

Good on you Ben. Have one for me too. I go for Engineering on the 21.1.2010and am anxiously waiting for that day. I can only imagine how great it feels to have that aspect behind you. Do you also have to get a Blue Slip in Victoria or is that only in NSW?

Baz

You Mexicans sure have it easy.

Oh, I forgot about the Cane Toads. They don't even have to have Emissions Tests.

Why was I born in NSW? I think our State Government has a distinct dislike for I.C.V.'s.

G'Day Baz, There's a story that a bloke built a hotrod. His engineer passed it and the RTA passed it. The hot rod guy was tooling down the road with his pregnant wife on board when something bodgey failed. The hotrod crashed and the missus lost the unborn child. The hotrod guy sued the engineer and the engineer sued the RTA. The RTA hates ICV's and now with a new fear of litigation they are determined to cover their ar$e completely. All these tests are to discourage a builder from building an ICV but they forgot one thing...they don't tell you this stuff until you are just about finished.
Typical government department. (my v.i.n. traveled between two out boxes for 10 weeks until my engineer went down to Sydney and personally found it.)

Sure is differnt is the NT.

I already have a VIN, and emission test is, No check engine light on, No black smoke from exhaust and No raw fuel coming out tailpipe.
Also the engine and ecu must be from a correct spec vehicle.

Looking good Benny.
I like that rear suspension setup. I can see something like that either side of the jag center. Get rid of those bluddy inboard brakes.
