Thanks Merv,
They certainly did the job when I took it for the Emmissions Test:- THC 0.17, NOX 0.58, CO 0.1 and CO2 283.0.
Have a great Christmas to you and Sharon.
Regards Baz

Thanks Baz and same to you and your family. There may be a Cobra gift under the tree? Luckily we don't need the emissions testing in QLD. "One more step for mankind ... and another for the Cobra". You're getting close now.

Good luck with it Baz.
I will be doing mine about the same time as yours (maybe a week later).
Have found a signatory in Darwin, so I will be flying him down.
Hope to be at Shelbyfest wearing number plates.
Hope to see ya there.

G'Day Baz,
Good to hear you have progress on the engineering side of things. I hope the drive / Brake tests go alright. The weather is a worry. Will the tests go on in the case of inclement weather ?

Mate, this is a worry. Oran Park closes for good on the 24th January and they won't test in the wet. That's why I'm hoping that the drought continues for a little while yet.
My trimmer is doing my soft top and tonneau in a silver/grey colour from Mercedes cloth. It is similar in colour to my stripes and looks great. I'll post some pics when it's finished.
Thanks to all you other guys for your interest and enthusiastic comments and good luck Dave with yout Engineering Test. N.T couldn't possibly be anything like NSW.

Looks good Baz,
Good luck with the testing, it must be good to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Did they end up making you do the 160kph or 100kph test in the end? Either way i doubt there will be any trouble passing. I assume the fact that you are going to Oran park it will be 160?

Not the case Liam.
My Engineer informed me this week that the NSW State Government has finally showed some common sense and reduced the Brake Test to 100kph.
I had made Representations to the Minister for Transport earlier this year on this aspect and it looks like they took notice of me for a change.
I'm not getting too excited though as things could change again before the
21st January.
This is good news, not only for me, but for all you other guys who are in the process of building your 'Dream Machine.'
Regards
Baz

Thanks Les. Appreciate it coming from such a Cobra connoisseur as you, that's a real compliment.

I reckon Les's would have to better than all of ours. It's only been going for 7 years. Well done Baz, look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Happy Xmas
