Thanks for the clarity Merv

As Rob inferres, the 'interpretation' of the rules by engineers can permit the pass of one vehicle which may fail with another engineer.

Just had a similar experience with a Local Council Inspector over DA issues......it's well known here which guys you do and don't want on your project with the the regs if you want less grief.
