The roofer did their stuff last week and it looks like this,,,,,,,








The builder and sparky started back today, I think they have already left as its bloody HOT today.

Stiffy, great work. Just a quick question. In the 1st and 2nd pics the lower roofs butt up against the pine uprights that extend up to hold the main roof. Shouldn't there be a flashing that runs up the pine 200-300mm that would get covered by the wall cladding and under the iron on the lower sections by a similar amount?

Mando,


Well spotted, they left them on the factory floor and delivered them last week. They fitted them today.

The sparky did alot of the set out and the builder did a bit before the heat arrived.

The flashing is so water will not leak through the blue board ( I think ).

Yes there will be a vent, just need to get the final inspection done.....

just like building a car really.......
