I'm still hoping "Cobber" can chime in with some more details on that sweet FIA.

Andrew,

How is your Genuine Imitation Aluminum holding up? Any sign of deterioration in the months since you applied it?

Cheers

Meter Maids in Melbourne! What is the place coming to? Actually the weather in Melb is not to bad these days. Proof that Global warming is not always a bad thing!

Shame though.... it needs a paint job. Bare aluminium looks so 'unfinished'

I tell you what, you get them IN the Cobra and I'll take a poster of that!

They had a 5 minute segment on Accurant Fairs the other day of the metermaids in Melbourne, right in the middle of a cold snap. GGGeeeeee they were COLD !!!!!

Hey Mike - It hasnt spent a whole lot of time outside - about 2000km's worth now and a few days in the carpark at school. Ive starting the rego process now - got my road exhaust on etc. So far the "paint" has held up really well. No issues at all - only time will tell if it lasts, but if not its a good base to sand it all off and paint it beige.

You only posted that picture to draw attention away from the "girl" on the left hand side of the pictures in posts 33 and 37. I can understand why your keen to export that type of talent.

Regards.

Tenrocca, I noticed your car only has 2 wipers. My wipers seem to be in about the same position as yours, so I was wondering if you did some sort of sweep test to establish coverage or have you kept under the radar?

Regards.

ADR was changed to "an effective wiper system" (rather then a persentage area covered) a couple of years ago and 2 wipers is OK with the guy Im hoping to use. If it doesnt fly Ill put an aero screen on.

Much prefer a 2 wiper setup to 3.

Hey there TomCat, there is a sticky thread at the top of Aussie section, I laid out instructions step by step in there.

Mando, I expect you might have to put some Talcum Powder on the screen, run the wipers and take some photos for the engineer. Or before fitment, you can work out the coverage and draw suitable diagrams for the engineer to approve. Plenty of Cobra's have been registered with 2 wipers.
