Very, very nice Schipps!

Great colour combo.

How long till you're hitting the roads with it?

The drop tank looks really good too. I've always liked a Cobra with its knickers showing!

Cheers.

Steve.

Default How long?

Stephen,

Thanks for the comments.
Still got a few things to finish off like the interior carpet, brakes and clutch bleeding and putting everything back on. Hopefully get it to the Engineer in July/August.

regards

Excellent Mick! We will expect you to come down to one of the Sunshine Coast (and North) Sunday lunch drives soon! I am hoping to get them going in July.

Very Niiiiiice
That gray/silver looks familiar, is it Lambo Titanium?
I toyed with stripe colour for so long......nearly went for black then decided to go with the ghost look.
Mines a few days off engine start........been waiting for my trimmer to be ready for 3 months, hopefully going next week if he doesn't put me off again

Top job Mick, looks sensational!

Not only was that combo high on my list, I've just ordered those very wheels. You might have a twin down here one day!

Greg,

Yes mate, Lambo titanium. I absolutely loved the colour as soon as I saw it a few years ago.

Merv,

I will look forward to those drives.

Thanks for the comments guys

Looks great, congratulations! It's good to hear your happy with the painter. Can't wait to see the car after you've put all the bits back on. Well done.

Regards.

Fantasic body Mick (the car), the finish is great and the contrast between the body colour and stripes is stunning.

What are the four openings under the rear hatch?

Reversing lights.

Beautiful! How long did the painter have it for? Some random observations:
Looks like you also have a nice big shed to work from, and...
Your rear tyres will give you excellent wet weather grip in reverse

Craig,

First of all, WELL SPOTTED. In my haste to see how the wheels would look with the new paint job, I just threw the rears on and they are on the wrong sides! So Excellent grip in reverse.

Yes the shed is Huuuuuuuuuuuge.. 6m x 4m.. Now I know Aussie Mike and Stiffy will be quite jealous of the size...But as some one once said, Size doesn't matter...its what you do with what you have got!

The painter had it for just under 3 months. The week I dropped it off, it rained here in Bundy for weeks on end and his insurance work from crashes mounted up very quickly, and as that is his bread and butter work he got into that first.

regards

Mick

Thumbs up

Mick,
That color is perfect for the Cobra.
That is one sweet lookin' ride.
But it ain't bad on a Roaring Forties GT either.
