On the road - almost

I have been in the Kimberley for a month on holiday and during that time I received an email from the engineer with my VIN number. This is what all the work is for so I'm feeling pretty chuffed. Another Cobra on the road.

Congratulations Peter! Well and truely in time for summer. What's left... just final inspection and number plates? Must admit I'm unsure of those last few stages.

Got your PM re Letter/number stamps, have them with me.

Sent you an email with my mobile number to call to work out how to get them to you.

Sambo - the last steps are the easy part - all you do is just ring up VicRoads and make an appt for an inspection - costs about 30 bucks. Better than waiting in line and taking a number.

The hardest part is parting with your hard earned cash for stamp duty
