Weather wise it was a better year then the 2 previous, and as much time was lost with breakdowns, fires, exploding cars, spin offs as there was the rain. I was lucky enough to got a good run in, but I do understand people missed out on a clear and dry run.

Shift the weather 3 days back, and it would have been a completely dry weekend.

I would agree Andrew.
The rain was only one of many reasons things where delayed on the weekend.
Your slow lap times are another....

Is that a 44 tooth crown wheel??? The only ratio I know of with 44 teeth is the standard issue 2.75:1. Couldn't be!

How was the engine running? Still giving the richter scale a nudge when you fire it up?

Craig, ratio was 3:9:1 which is std BMW M3. Have gone to 4:8:8 BMW Msport. In the 391 I could WP straight in 2nd and the balance in 1st! Thus the BANG!

Motor feels good but never got to really test..... oil leak is coming from w/pump spacer where it bolts to the block. I have a feeling the bolts where too long so have put in a spacer washer. Sadly never got to test it once I did that diagnosis and I can't really take it for a spin down tedder!

Will give it a Dyno later on in the year......

Well, if "tedder" is out of the question. How about the Sovereign mile?. From the gates to the second round a bout and back again.

Go on .... you know you want to.

Les beat me to it.

They are our 1st generation Superlite Roadsters(SL-R's).

We have just started supply of 2nd generation SL-R's, we've squeezed every last ounce of performance out of them and also enhanced their appearance including new body workm wheels etc.

Have performed all the testing and compliance certification for registration. 1st cars are going through registration at the moment. None yet in VIC, but can't forsee any problems as we already have engineers lined up there.
