side pipes
Well after my search has turned up as a dud and not able to find anyone in Australia to make me pipes ,its back to the old undercar exhaust.
And to be truely honest i think the sidepipes are too bloody loud and give you a head ache after a while.
Thanks again Paul

Paul, I love my side pipe noise, under load or heavy acceleration they are nice and meaty.
But when cruising (and I am doing plenty of that lately) I have more tyre noise than pipe noise.

Any half decent fabrication place should be able to make them for you. Just look up local stainless fabricators and take them a picture of what you want. At the end of the day its just stainless pipe and mandrel bends. You would probably get a better price from them instead of a car parts supplier.

Wow - it took you only 5 days after asking the question to give up??? As others have said, talk to a local exhaust fabricator. I could name half a dozen places within an hour drive from me who could make a beautiful set of pipes, customised to your desired noise level...

You sook
Aussie Mike might make you a set or as Craig says any good exhaust place worth their salt would make you whatever you want. Mine are just 100mm stainless pipe with 4 100mm stainless Mandrel bends welded on with a triflow baffle setup inside. Around $600 from memory.
Cheers
Brett

Paul already has side pipes - he is after a new set that are more authentic looking.
Personally I think the ones on it now look fine!

I can check into a real quiet muffler if you wish. If not, that's ok.

Kevin, What kind of money are you asking for a set of your pipes, canyou make them without the finish, wouldn't want to damage them when trying to fit them, thanks.

Googled it and found a design patent description. It looks a bit constrictive...what's others opinion ?

$2,100 for the entire kit. All you need is the 4-hole primary flange to match up to your headers. Too many variables with your engine, body cut outs ect.
When your fitting your side pipes, just wrap them in a towel and blue painters tape. If you do get a scratch, stainless is very easy to polish them out.
Here's our muffler. Point the louvers away from the engine for better flow, or towards the engine for a bit less noise. Look how restrictive one of the manufactures muffler's are.
