Default Freight from USA

Hi everyone.

Looking for recommendations of freight companies to get stuff in crates from the USA to Australia.

Pref some company that is priced right! Also curious if guys go for a door to door service, or port to port with extra deliveries at each end.

Thx

Default Freight

Hello, I send steel targets all around the world in heavy crates built on top of normal pallets. We use YRC, it is yellow freight and roadway freight combined, they have a international department and the rates are good.
If you start at yrc.com and look for the international link it may work for you.
good luck, Karl @ GT Targets or Karl CSX2498 on this forum.

I've used Cargoclear International in Brisbane a couple of times. cargoclear.com.au No problems, but they work out of Brisbane.
Their US partner, PTS Warehouse are fabulous. Excellent communication. I bought items from all over the place and had them all sent to PTS, and they emailed me instantly with the details of each box as they received it. That way, you know exactly what they've loaded into your container so there are no surprises.

Ask Craig White aka 400TT he brings in containers all the time. I am in the process (thanks again Craig) of having my engine cleared through customs here in Brisbane. It is coming through AGS logistics or womething like that. My engine builder (fordstrokers.com) arranged freight. Was under US$600 for a DART bottom end from Chicago.

Hi Jethrow,

I'm in Perth and I have brought in a few Mustangs over the last 18 months and have had great experience with a local WA based shipper...I am about to use him to bring a crate motor over for one of the Mustangs.

I'd be happy to have chat over the phone about my experiences if you like...just send me a pm with your number...

Regards....Paul
