Side pipe search
Folks
Thought I'd add a second recent thread on side pipes from my recent search.
The picture below is that of pipes as supplied from Vintage Wheels.
From the Vintage Wheel web site http://www.vintagewheelsus.com/parts.php these fit the standard 90" wheelbase cars. Further advice received put the distance from tip to outside flange edge at 51" which measured up fine on my G Force.
Raw as pictured costs $595 USD and chromed or ceramic at $925 USD per pair of pipes. This includes the rear clamp plate shown which comes chromed to match the chrome pipes however I will get specific tangs added to mine here for mounting.
I was quoted $235 freight excluding duties for one set and have asked if multiples would help in this regard. And VW have AUSFTA forms to help minimise tax too.
I am planning on ordering two sets of chromed pipes but am putting this out there if anyone is motivated and cashed up for a quick decision to perhaps up the freight consignment.
Would like to think that I will be acting on this order by early next week so if you are interested let me know. My email address is stephen.low@transpac.com.au for the quickest initial response.
Cheers
Steve
