Any value
Hi all.
I just pulled a really good six cylinder and C4 box out of a 65 Mustang. New V8 in now.
So I now have a 200ci.motor and C4 box sitting on the floor at the workshop of McDonald Brothers racing in Thomastown. Victoria 03 9 465 0000.
This is a very good serviced motor and box that has had all new filters, plugs, belts etc. etc.
Anyone know someone that wants a good motor.
As I will donate part sale to RMHC I want something over $600 for the lot.
Value or not. Chris at McDonald Brothers Racing in Thomastown can be contacted on 03 9 465 0000. Chris drove the Mustang around with the six in it and knows how good it is.
Know anyone who may want it..
Cheers
Bernie

Hey Bernie
My middle boy is lusting for a 65? fastback and had the werewithal to ask me if one could transplant a six in place of the 8 for P-plate driving.
Not bad thinking for the young bloke though I'm not so sure he should be in even a crappy Mustang in his first driving years.
But a car is still to be procured so it's a bit hypothetical at this time.
Bet your stang gets upp and goes a bit better now though.
Cheers
Steve

Slowy
Steve,
Not a bad idea. I have heard that some 18 year olds are chasing the six cylinders.
Would be a simple swap from an 8 back though.
Good chance to re build a neat little V8 whilst driving the six around at 160HP..

Any interest. It goes om eBay this week.
But to a good home here on the Forum I would let it go very cheaply. Too good to let go..
