Gold Coast - Car for formal - any suggestions
Hi Guys,
I am hoping that someone may have a suggestion here that can assist.
My claytons daughter (daughter you have when you dont have a daughter) who is a long term family friend has her Yr 12 formal this Friday and asked if I would take her to her formal in the cobra. Thats no worries however forcast is for rain and now its panic stations with her as the cobra may not be a possibility..... not in getting the car wet.... but in the getting makeup and hair wet etc...
Anyway, she is a really cool kid and stunning as well and is looking for something classic as opposed to normal limos, hummers etc. Something like a 50's chev, mustang etc...something cool.... you get the drift.
They are happy to pay for the privelage so I am putting it out there.... would anyone have something that fits this or have any suggestions that I can offer them.
Short of a wedding day this appears to be a major day in a girls life and I am trying to help.
Thanks guys.... this forum is a great place to be a part of.
Cheers.

I have asked for any help in Chrysler forum for you.
Hope the weather holds out as it is short notice and formal time.

Awesome, thanks guys. I have gone and visited a neighbour who has a 34 Ford hot rod, I offered the same with a favour for the cobra in the future... anyway this may be an option and I got some numbers for the chev club as well.
Busy time of year and short notice however I appreciate efforts.
Cheers.

A bit slow on an update however the weather held off and it was all a go. And was also a very popular car to have arrived in I am told.
If anyone ever gets a chance to be a part of it... do it... young kids love these cars as much as we do.
Cheers.

I was going to suggest he use the money that he saved not paying for the 34 ford to buy the young man a hair cut.

Thats funny, we were talking about it the other day how the boys these days have long hair....use hair straighteners ...etc..... then it makes me think to the Beatles and that era..... its all a cycle.
Anyway, It all worked out well with the partner riding in another car till about a block away, then he jumped in as we were then in the car arrival procession. He was happy as they say it was all about the arrival.
Cheers
