Default Gauging intrest in run to Alice Springs

Just looking for general hands up at the moment, but one of the local car clubs (Aces & Eights) that I am a commitee member in, run a car show every year on Mothers day (Sunday 8th May 2011) and I thought I would ask in here if people would like to come out and bring your toys (Does not need to be a Cobra).
The car show next year is being held in conjunction with Shannons and there is also a display being put on by a MotoX team from Darwin who travel the world for shows (Australian version of Krusty Demons)
We also have a verbal yes from Porsche Australia to show there current range of vehicles.
Another bonus is that Central Australian Drag Racing Association (CADRA) are having a drag race street meeting on the Saturday night before.

Also if there is some intrest shown I will take time from work and can organise some day trips to some nice places and even an overnighter to the Rock if wanted.

If some intrest is raised I will hunt down some accomodation costings etc.

I am also looking at ways of getting hold of the many Cobra clubs around Australia so I can ring or email them.
If you know there websites or email address's can they please be posted here? or Pm to me.

Thanks everyone.

That sounds like a hoot Boxhead -

& I love the look of the track (but how do you cope with only 200 miles of run off)

I fear that my ability to attend will be no where near my interest in attending .

feel free to pm further details (if any) for mention at next months club meeting in Vic.

Thanks LoBelly, no more details to supply yet.
But if you could make mention of it that would be great.

When more becomes available I will let you know and supply more info then.
At the moment the only things set are the date the location and Shannons involvment
