Sold to pay a tax bill !!! Man I'm still struggling to finish my Cobra 13 years later. It will be finished eventually and I'll have to own it forever whilst I pay off all my 'other' investments.
My car is a labour of love and regardless of my debt. I won't sell it until I get sick of it. Which I think it will be when the evil authorities tell me I can't drive any more. I wish I could build and sell cars every other year but I become too attached to my creations. Damn !

All my cars are always for sale (maybe with the exception of George), if offered too much money, they are gone............

Nice GT Dave. I've checked out the DRB GT40 and I like them too. I'd like to build on one day.

cheers

Default corvette

[quote=albanycobra;1095105]After cutting the body in I move onto the suspension.

I fitted the front side panels (pre cut and marked by DRB). I then polished the front Corvette C4 suspension arms, I also fitted new bushes and ball joints while at it. The front end I got from Ebay in the States and the balljoints are from Ecklers.

Fitted up the front suspension with QA1 shocks ,350 pound springs.[/QUOTE

I got brand new set of C4 upper and lower control arms from Utah USA from a well known corvette supplier.

These items were alot cheaper than Ecklers but you cannot fault their service as used them in the past.

I love to build a GT40 and these parts will come into play if I can buy /source a abandoned GT40 project.

l will be shortly receiving a set of BRM wheels previously fitted to Dave's RF 40

It is a START!
