I have a couple of blue Kyosho model cars.

The detail is really good on them.

I must have been a good boy as she blew her wife dollars on one of these FATHERS DAY last year ....it sat on the dining room table for about 2 weeks and I sat down and marvelled at the detail in it every night!!!

Maybe a KIRKHAM ..AMG Mercedes in 1/12 would be awesome!!!!

Can you imagine how many hours goes into building one, let alone the cast/mold that went into the first completed car !!!

Anyone willing to donate the $1,000 to me ?

FUNFER2 - OZ is pulling your leg and has embellished the truth a little.
$550AUD is closer to $570US with today's exchange rates.
The use of OZ's sarcasm is due here mostly because historically the Aussie dollar has been far below parity with the US dollar.

PS: Apologies if this is insulting your intelligence

No problem, it's still too expensive for me. Add it to my dream list.

I love the all black hallibrands, does anyone know if that was original on any of the real shelbys.

Although I can't afford the 1:18 scale, I just bought this Franklin Mint 1:64. I waited for a good deal and got it for $60 on ebay. It came with a lifting stick to open the hood, trunk and doors, and even a plastic glove so you don't get finger oil on the aluminum.

Very happy with it.
