Default 540 Rear Springs

Anyone who is building a 540 who wants coil springs in the rear that are adjustable I found a company in Sydney, Wholesale Suspension, that can supply them. The springs are made for them by King Springs and are rated at 380lbs.
They supply the adjustment pillows and springs. They will all supply adjustable length adjustable dampening shocks, but shorten shocks will be okay as long as the spring doesn't fall out when the wheel is at full travel.

The address and phone number for Wholesale Suspenion is 129 Coreen Ave, Penrith NSW 2750 Ph: (02) 4721 2112. Ask for Pat.
No part number, just ask for the rear coilovers and shocks for a BA/BF Falcon and tell him they are for a Cobra kit car. He will know what you talking about.

Warren, just wondering how adjustable units are going,as i need a bit of extra clearance under the muffler boxes to get the required clearance for engineering and these would probably do the trick.

Hi Paul

Sorry for taking a while to answer, just got back from holidays.
The adjustable rear springs are working well, they give me about 30mm variation in height.
Why don't you just use the standard XR8 springs. These should give you plenty of height.

The springs in my donor car were already lowered and sit at a nice height now but the speed humps our local council have installed require that pretty much any lowered vehicle need to drive at an angle. So though i might try to have the suspension variable so i can find a compromise of sorts.Plus i can get the desired height for engineering.
