Default Any other scale car racers out there?

Just thought I would ask, after seeing some items in the background of another members pics I started to wonder if there are any other scale guys out there?
I have had a little on/off couple of seasons, but made most races last season and plan to have another fair crack this year, I race in 1/8 off road Nitro (only valid class in Alice Springs), although we are looking to make a banked oval track to run sliders.

Anyway, I bought my first car second hand about 4 years ago and after detonating the engine (snapped crankshaft and it came through engine case) within the first 6 months, I got sidelined playing golf for a few years. My first car was at the time only 1 season old and top of the line Xray XB8TQ, great car, a little hard to drive but very adjustable in the chassis setup.
Here it is after a race early 2010.

Anyway, I am never going to be good enough to be competitive in pro class and, and in Alice they let you run "sportsman" class for the first year then you have to go into pro, I did get runner up in sportsman 2010 but that was mainly as I attended most race meetings.
So I decided after watching Truggies go around that my slow reactions might be best suited to truggy (as my driving style is more about sliding the car around corners) and when I did that in my buggy, I was getting too much side bite and ending up on its roof too often (evident by bent wing in above pic)
So late last year I bough myself a new truggy, a better radio set and new servo's that run off LiPo batteries, I decided to keep my motors (I bought 2 at the start of 2010) as the motors are very powerful.
Here is my new weapon.
This pic is all newly painted but not all stickers in place and body cutouts not finished.

And here it is after body cuts done, a few more stickers added and a blast around the block (so it is dusty).

So does anyone else play with toy cars?

I used to race a 10th scale electric FWD Mini - sill have it, 10th scale nitro onroad AWD (got rid of it) and 10th scale truggy electric - just play with this one.

Found Nitro APITA and will now keep with electric. One day I want an electric plane to play with, but SWMBO has stated that I already have too many toys!

One of these days I will.

For those who have never been to one of these races, let me tell you that you need to. They are FAST!!!!

The first time I walked up to the track right at the start of a race I quickly stepped back...for my own safety!!
