Folks here keep taking photos of their cars in the ERA shop, so I believe they are still in business.

They are all good...but a phone call is the way to go. I understand you are an international customer but these guys are old school in the ways of email and sometime take more time to respond. They are great on the phone though..best in the business if you don't mind spending a few dollars to call.

You can speak with Bob Putnam from ERA by posting in the ERA forum on this web site:

Very much "still around". Building the finest glass bodied cobra on the planet!! My second FIA. New Britain Ct., email Bob Putnam - the computer literate one of the group - he is their staff engineer. Peter Portante - the GM / Owner - spends his time speaking with new customers, owners, and working with Peter Jr. in race car instructions. Great shop - real pros. Doug - THE master mechanic, car builder - personally turns the wrenches on their rollers and turnkeys - done it for 15 years. Everything done in house - frames, bodies, custom rear racing brake assembly. Really a terrific visit to their shop. Always have frames being welded in the frame shop + bodies being pulled from molds.

Next door is the finish shop - which normally has 10 - 12 cobras in various stages of finish (always a few blue ones!!). 427's; 289 FIA's; 289 Slab side; GT40. Give my best to Bob and Peter!!

Bob will give it to you once you contact him through this site. Also, keep in mind that they were closed between Christmas and New years.
