I hope it does become a bit of a gathering point for some good mates out this way.
Wouldnt mind them playing with there GT's, 39 coupes, 32 roadster, 40 willys coupe, a couple of XU1's would make me a happy man to have them parked in and around the shed, enjoying a beer ad working out how to best attack a roof chop on the little Humber Hawk.

I made it back home just after 2pm today after a long long drive.
Very happy to see a full slab in the shed and formwork in place for "driveway" ramps into shed.
This is being poured tomorrow morning, so I will get the inspectors over on Friday or early next week.
Then I can take out wall and join teh 2 sheds together and have the last part between both sheds done.
Very Happy.

I will see how I go for the first summer, the roller doors open to the north (so least amount of tin to heat up as possable), if need be I will buy a couple of decomissioned swampy coolers, alot of big offices and shops are going reverse cycle air out here so you can buy reco swampies for about $500 for a big one. I have a small one on original shed.
The shed is also lined on all walls and roof with insulation.

Coolers sound nice in theory ( I acquired a monster air conditioner from a local mine) BUT who wants to work in a closed shed ??? I never used the air con because I didn't like being in a closed box. Although your shed is pretty 'spacey' mine is only 6 x 9 with 8 foot walls.(too small)  |

The new shed was Christened today.
Cleaned the Cobra for a car show tomorrow.
Now to wait till I can paint.

He visits next week, they know of my intentions to join the two together.
And advised as long as there are no beams joining the sheds together, then all is ok.
I intend to extend old shed with a frame that is connected to old shed, and free standing an inch or 2 short of new shed, and connect flashing to new shed only.
Flashing join is permitted.

No idea, Valiants arent $hit 
I had teh Cobra and the Valiant at a car show today, the Valiant won Best Classic Chrysler, the Cobra came home empty handed.

FAARk a council with common sense...I just had a fight with my council mob that said the storm-water drains were mine..in suburbia ? They won because they changed the rules the day after I complained...now I DO own the storm water drains ! I think I'll plug em up with concrete. I don't need em !.....but the neighbours do though. We'll see what the council says then. They're mine Now...ha ha ha |

I managed to assemble the tools I bought on my recent trip down south.
Lovely pile of boxs.
Sand blast cabinet, shrinker/stretcher and Planishing hammer.
That is the English wheel on far right.
Sand blast tank for on cars, Tig welder, Plasma cutter still in box and an oil drain for under the hoist.
My little compressor.
That is a Troop Carrier wheel to give an idea of size.
Now to pour a slab for compressor next weekend and wire it all in
