Cool Yep but not for long.

Well everything from the lower manifold up is junk and a new single t/body with internal ram tubes will fitted on top.
and maybe a couple of turbos.
Is that yours or just a pic of one??

Not mine, just a picture of one that is for sale in the US.
It should have an unique sound, turbo'd or not. When is its debut.

Got word from David K, These Billet Blocks are currently still in prototype stage... They are anticipating around $5K USD for the Block.

All things being equal, that puts it in between the Pond block & the Shelby block.

For mine, that's a good spend if you've got a Kirkham to put it in!

Yeah the first block is currently at Keith Craft. He is going to build a full engine using that block and run it for a while from what I understand.

I saw the original two wooden blocks, pretty neat.

I'm tossing up a range of ideas... including a KC Alu 482, right through to an even LS7, and others in between
(You can blame Heidelberg for the LS7 his SPF with LS7 looks bang on, and would go like the stink, with full ABS traction control, full race logic and get 25+ mpg).

I'm still trying to get a Kirkham landed.

The deal has been done verbally, and I'm keen, but....
there are hurdles we are negotiating.
If I ever get this thing landed & over the line I'll be as happy as a pig in mud!

Open to you thoughts and suggestions...

Best wishes,
Dimis,

With the Kirkham you have ordered, what options have you got ??

And how are you importing in as ?

Soul.

Hi Soulman,

project is in it's infancy, nothing finalized.
&
thus, haven't yet crossed the importing bridge.

What do you a) suggest I order & b) what do you recommend regarding importing?

Ps: I hear salt air is giving you some trouble.
Happy to help you out with your Kirkham,
I have a spare spot in my garage for one ;-)

kingest regards,
anth

Dimis,

sorry was under the impression you had ordered one.

Love to know if you can bring them in, a lot of doors are now closed regardless if intention are to 90 day permit use.

They still regard it as a car -complete or not !! I know of 3 in Aus that cannot be registered.

Love to have a FIA version if it was possible.

Save the heartache and maybe look at a local car.

I know an excellent '68 reg AC cobra -Arntz for sale complete with csx numbers.

Good luck .

Soul.

Hi Soul,

Thanks for the advice...
But you never did mention what options you'd recommend?

Very cool.....

I know brushed finish is a nightmare to maintain , the guy i bought my car off [ Otomix -Ray] had/owned the polished car that BLEW the doors off the Ferrari, that would be even worse !!

SS chassis is pretty funky to look at and the 427 FE Shelby is pretty scary, given that the car is a piece of art , i would get the guys to do as much as possible in the states.

Efi is way cool also.

Looking forward to seeing another piece of art driving around.

Soul.

Nice ride Merv,
I remember when this car was for sale years ago at Shannons auctions in Melb.
If I recall corretly, it was up for auction again in July 2010 at Shanons but in Sydney and was passed in.

I think this car would make a great base for anyone wanting to redo a robnell to steph greco specs. I certainly have considered this.

Given its NSW rego it would be an excellent buy for someone there with present difficulties in that state with engineering ADRs and registration. It would certainly hold it's value b
