well the concreter turned up this morning as planned, except not quite as planned they bought with them a 6-tonne excavator, for a space where a 1.5-tonne is required to fit in........back to the drawing board. I wish people would visit before quoting.

It's looking good. I'd think about lagging all those pipes if there're only storm water pipe and not sewer. Lag them all the way along where they'll be in contact with concrete . If your concrete moves and the pipes brake it will be a nightmare to fix. That's my 2 cents worth!

Regards.

OK Modena - you are upstaging me on the pics, movies AND the shed!

So now I am going to get my arse into gear with my shed. Watch out for postings soon....

(Yours is looking good, by the way! Will give you a PM for the concreter's contact if you recommend them... and you think they'll service NE Burbs...)

Amazing what a little bit of extra space can do to a work area ! Your brickies need a bit of training on waste and cleaning up...man they nearly layed a floor there with the cement they spilt.

I have a question.

Where did you get approval to build that close to the fence line?

It is not close to the fenceline, it is ON the fenceline. Council regs differ wildly from place to place, let alone state to state. In Vic it's generally not a problem to build a garage wall on a boundary.

My shed/factory/hanger had to be 8 metres from a boundary
