Guye
The car was mostly done before it was sent to paint. The video shows about 10 weeks of work. Whole build was around 750 hours over 18 months.

After viewing Aussie Mike's shed floor and others, I've decided I want to paint my floor too.
Plus, it does get a little dusty. And the surface is not smooth enough for the trucks on the tool chest to run easily (and if I make a dolly or use go-jacks for the cobra it will be worse on that).
And also I need to occupy myself while I'm waiting for my kit body to be fabricated.
So I'm hiring a diamond floor grinder tomorrow, my brother's factory heater, and have garage-proof paint, thinners, rollers, and concrete etching powder ready to go. Busy weekend ahead. Stand-by for pics...

I highly recommend using a 2 pack epoxy paint. Mine has been very durable so far.

Guye busy weekend ahead... Be carefully with the floor grinder! The hire shop will tell you it's easy but If you don't know what you are doing ( like me) you end up grinding circles into the floor. I got a couple of beauties in my floor. I second Aussie Mikes recommendation two pack epoxy is the way to go. Don't use paving paint it does not like having cars parked on it.
Have fun!

Floor grinding done.
(raw floor nearer to me; you can see the swirls that make trolleys, tool chests and crawlers awkward to roll).
Painting done. I ended up using a product called Auseal Curite, manufactured in Dandenong, Vic. Smells real strong so it MUST be good!

Omg, I REALLY need to get a cobra soon!!!
Today I saw this fold away galv bench for sale at Mitre-10 and fixed it to the wall. Good space saving option. I am soooo in need of a bigger thing to build!

$50. Rated to 150kg, which ain't too bad for a fold up job.
