With my split CV boot and the clicking sound not about to disappear, I sent the rear axle to M & S Driveshafts in Sunshine (Melb). They replaced the outer CV, repacked the inner and fitted new boots. $220 including courier across town and back. Had a nice long drive down to Mt Eliza on Saturday, worry free with that little gremlin sorted out.

Last night I stripped my replacement k-frame and trial fitted the adjustable arms. Everything lines up beautifully with a fair bit of adjustment. Next job is to press/heat/burn all the bushes out and fit the new poly bushes. That should be a fun job so I'll try to get some photos.
