Default Another Forum

Another Forum was recently pointed out to me in the US I believe. I am sure many are aware of it in Australia. Seems nicely set up.

Original link actually worked for me, perhaps it was removed as it's maybe not particularly good form to promote an alternative forum on this one?

its not a forum, its a registry of cars and cars for sale. The "forum" link on that site is actually a collection to other Cobra related sites, including this one.

edit: my bad, I see it has its own "talk" forum

All things Cobra. Can't see why not. This seems a new one to me.

Might be just me, but Im not sure I would feel comfortable wiping the special sauce off my chin wearing a hungry jacks t-shirt into mcdonalds on free big mac day.

Im not expert, but my understanding is:
Sites like CC are able to operate and provide this (free) service through some advertising
Advertising revenue is determined (at least in part) by site traffic
Posting a link to a forum alternative potential takes some traffic away from this site, potentially reducing their revenue.

Probably no big deal - thought I would just mention it. Im prone to over-reaction and being self-indulgent.

Cheers

Hmmm yes agree Tenrocca.

... Not sure if I agree on the sauce example or the change to another site. This site meets all of my needs.

Too right Bob.
If Andrew chooses to be a self indulgent bastard, who are we to criticize?

Did CC send you birthday wishes Andy?

Is the CCC site available for posting and questions for non paid-up members? I know many of us also look at the Clubbies site and refer to it here.

There is no way I could have built and registered a car without the fantastic help of the guys on this site, but other sources of information are commonly used by us all at different times.

Well there's a useful post - agreeing with someone because they agree with you. . From this day forth, I want it to be known that I also agree with everyone who has ever agreed with me, and anyone who thinks I am wrong, I disagree with.

Anyway - I'll stand by my original comments. Not particularly "good form" IMO, but we may have to agree to disagree on that one Merv.

Cheers.

Thanks. I agreed that the site was worth a look for ideas . No more or less. If you agree or disagree is of no relevance to me.

For Sale - "One Le Mans Hardtop". Can pick up from my place in Sydney, just need to scrub off some Bunnings green coloured paint.

Keep it up and you get another video, LAB.
