i wanted to use DEFI gauges myself, but no speedometer available,
so was thinking about a custom set of these:
Kits Gauge, Revolution Metric Gauge Series by SpeedHut
liked these also but they have Mopar on them
Full Sweep Electronic In-dash Speedometer: 3 3/8" - 77060054

Beauies i have a set of those exact gauges for my car.
Im pretty happy with them. The only thing is that they appear to be pretty deep. It may be just because they are not installed and i am looking at them out of context, but they look like they may be hard to see from an angle if not looking front on.
You can check them out if you find yourself out this way.
Modena, theres nothing wrong with trying something new. Building your own car is about doing it your way. To me every part has its place provided there is a consistent them. Interested to see how they look.
Cheers.

Forgot to add, all the revolution gauges have programmable high and low warning lights plus progressive shift light.
Modena, just checked out your blog. The combination light gauge is neat.

Zedn, Did you get anything custom on yours?
If i do get them i have asked them to change the volt gauge to a oil temp, and have the fuel gauge face layout to the legacy face layout.

Nothing custom. Just the standard 6 gauge metric set with white pointers and chrome bezels. They look pretty nice.
I was tempted to go with cobra picture and or stripes, but i didnt want to risk it looking tacky and i wanted them to have a value if anything causes me to scrap my build eg rego. I can resell plain guages easy or use them in another car.
One of the guys on here has the cobra logo on his and i must say they pretty cool.

Don't say Scrap your build...I know the future is bleakin NSW but please think positive. Your car will turn out very nicely according to the build pics so far. If you can't register it in NSW 'the police state'. Sell it to another state. You'll get what you paid !

That cluster gauge is pretty neat
A great idea to take the place of all the individual button lights
Notwithstanding that - abomination abomination

I like your choice there, the autometer 'Nexus' range are pretty smooth too.
They can be made to change colour at certain set points, eg the temp guage could be green and change to yellow then red as the temp rises.
Alot of great gear is available now.
