Silver or Gold?
I solved the problem of the rear tyres touching the guards......
[IMG] [/IMG]
17" rims with 45 series tyres, I needed spacers for the front to stop THEM rubbing though.
What do you reccon, gold or silver wheels?
[IMG] [/IMG]
Actually I've got new 245/45x16 tyres to fit the Halibrand lookalikes on the way, fingers crossed that with a lower profile than the old 55's that all will be shweet.

don't like the shallow dish look of the gold rims.
I also think the Silver/gold contrast does't work as well as the Halibrands in the second photo.
IMHO

Might look good in black with a red pinstripe on the rim.

Waiting for Matt to chime in, the goldies are off one of his past rides. I believe it was a black monster.

I'd say the Halibrands, the only wheel to run.

Put those back on the skyline you pinched them from.
Just kidding. I believe only the owner of the car can make such a personal decision.

I think Spook had some gold wheels like that and he put spinners on them. It looked awesome.

For those unable to detect my irony - this is the only style of vehicle what suits those wheels:
Take a bex, have a good lie down and put the silver ones back on when you come to your senses.

Yep, totally agree. Temporary exemption may be granted for track days, conditional on vehicle to be trailered to/from track under a full tarp.
