Plackard Placement
My engineer has given me 3 plackards to install before my inspection for Rego.
One's OK on the dash but I was wondering where the other 2 for rims and tyres were being installed by guys out there that had passed their test. I know they normally would go inside the door opening but I don't seem to have any room.
If someone has any answers please post some pic's if you can! While your here could you let me know how many of you removed the dash plaque and dashpad after achieving rego.
Regards.

Both of mine are in the door panels Mando. Nothing on the dash. Rego authorities were happy with that.

Hi Mando, I put my tyre placard on the door itself near the latch as the CR doesnt have a thick dor sill like the Harrison. Rgds Gregg

Mine is in the boot, on the left hand (passengers side) rounded section of inner wheel arch.

Mando
Mine were on my desk at home at time of inspection, Vicroads were only interested that numbers matched and that I paid the appropriate fees.
However I have heard your SA vehicle agency is a tad more a##l but I'd still suggest laminating the plackards and attaching temporarily until you decide on a better option.
When did you last look at the tyre plackard on the Territory?

Thanks guy's, I should be able to work something out from here. Merv, yours looks great but I don't have as much room as the Harrison kit. I'll see if I can fit them around the latch area as Gregg suggested. I like the idea of the glovebox if I had one, it might end up in the boot after all.
Hi Steve, I'm not doing any more jobs 2 and 3 times. They're going on and they're not coming of !!!
Regards.
