I was only born in the last year of them, free love and all that sort of thing.
Summer of 69

I have bought some pusher fans and now 15 inch rims for the look, will match them up with GoodYear Billboards
Just not sure if yellow and blue will go wth the look I am after.
I want to win the most original Cobra trophy, after all it has been proven that the CR with LS motor must be right, have won it before, and that was painted with a brush. :P

Default No it's blue........

Hey hey but mine is a dark blue.

I wanted black & yellow too but there are a few cars in this scheme so the wife developed a cunning plan so Baldrick says.

The stipe looks black in flat or indirect light but if you look at the bonnet edge where the sun hits the colour more at right angles and out comes the colour.

Has a bit of fleck in the paint and in full sunlight looks spectacular.

Cheers

I am leaning towards Impulse blue at the moment as Voodoo blue looks a little light (on a full bodied commy anyway) in our bright Qld UV ridden sunlight. I have a small pressure pack of impulse and did some graffiti this morning to suss the look out.

Has anyone painted a Cobra in Subaru blue? and if so which subaru blue?

I collected about 90 shades of blue in the Glasurit range and the subaru blue ( the peacock / electric one ) is one of the closest to Guardsman blue. It's a tad too bright for me.

I thought I'd paint my car Subaru Blue for a long time. In the end I decided it was going to attract to much attention and picked a more sedate blue.

Regards.

I have recently found an old Valiant Hardtop I am hoping to purchase.
I did some checking on the car and its original color is called "True Blue Metalic"
Not a bad looking blue, and the hardtop was also original fit with a white vinyl roof.
Here is the color.
