Default Jag front hubs

Guys, is the front hub the same between the earlier S2 (smaller stub axle) and Later S3\S3 (larger stub axle) - just running different ID bearings?

Cheers

No one is game to make a comment Andrew, just in case you take exception to their wheels, engine , paint colour, religious belief ect

Thanks for your input Gav, but if you could stick to MY thread topic that would be great. Feel free to create a new thread about my dislike of the colour "Bunnings Green".

Background - Ive discovered I have the smaller stub axles on the front and want to go thicker - not sure if I also need to replace the hub or just the upright\axles\bearings.

Thanks in advance for any USEFUL input.

Not talking from experience there are you Gav? Didn't you share a room with him at the nationals one year?

No it was Pneall that was disappointed with both his performance on the track and at the motel.

Gavin, that can't be right, Pneall told me on the last night of the nationals he found a way of making his 8" long.
He later told me he did it by folding it in half.

Regards.

Phil isn't the one with performance issues Mando.
He managed to find Andy's cars rev limiter regularly!

Give these guys a call.

Jaguar Spare Parts Supplier - Jag Prestige Spares- H/H Prestige Spares - Australia's Largest Independant - Used Land Rover Discovery Spare Parts

I have found them to be very helpful and they will get the parts to you in Sydney within a couple of days. Great service. Just give them a call and explain the application, they deal with lots of cobra and hotrod customers.

Thankyou Liam for your constructive input.

I have called them and they were great but I think their main guy (the one with the brains) is on hols - the other fellas there reckoned I needed new hubs too, but I can see a separate part number anywhere, so Im not sure they are right. Even if someone wth a set of bearings for the thicker axle can measure the OD and I can compare to the OD on the ones I have?

Thought someone here would know, but I should have known better that all I would get would be smart arse comments about penis\stub size and gold rims. Pathetic. Just grow up you lot.

Cheers,
Andrew

Tenrocca, why are you after shorter stub axles? Does this have anything to do with increasing outer dish on the front rims?

Regards.
